Aparthotel Marouco is located in A Guarda, a fishing village on the border with Portugal. Steeped in history on the banks of the River Miño, it's one of the most interesting destinations in the south of Galicia .It's located only a few minutes from Baiona, Monte Santa Tecla, Tui and the local beaches. In addition it's close to the airport of Vigo, Portuguese cities like Valença, Caminha or Viana do Castelo, and only one hour from Santiago de Compostela and Oporto by motorway.It's excelllent location and its fast accesses make it an ideal place for business trips or vacations.

Aparthotel Marouco has independent apartments in a same complex, in addition to 3 bedrooms.They comprise of 13 apartments completely equipped, with kitchen, hall, one or two bedrooms and bathroom.Four of them are double rooms and to differentiate their atmospheres the layout has created independence between the living area, (kitchen,living room and bathroom) and the bedroom.In addition to staying in the apartments it is possible to enjoy all of the services including the swimming pool, landscaped zones, garage, etc... at a time that maintains your freedom and privacy.There is also a rustic house totally restored for rent. Divided on two floors, with 5 rooms, it has a kitchen and living room.

The owner, Pepe, is also an animal lover and he has recently created a unique educational farm below the hotel with outstanding views. Animals include horses, rabbits,goats,peacocks,ducks,

geese,turkeys,chickens,wild boar,cows and lots more besides. There is also a small football pitch for children. All of the facilities are immaculately kept and landscaped with a spectacular water cascade and small ponds etc.

Aparthotel Marouco was inaugurated in 2011 in the fishing village of A Guarda,a municipality of tourist interest in the province of Pontevedra. It's located in a calm, ideal place to rest and to enjoy nature, the beach and the sun. An ideal location, 5 minutes from two blue flag beaches in Baixo Miño and close to the urban centres of A Guarda and O Rosal.
