La Cabana
Galicia
La Cabaña (the Cabin) as its name suggests is a charming hotel built completely of wood. It is situated in large grounds, surrounded by gardens, pines and chestnut trees. The Camino de Santiago (Way of Santiago) passes here on its second to last lap before culminating at the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
Three buildings comprise the hotel, in two of which are found 30 rooms (4 adapted to the needs of the handicapped,) all with bathroom, telephone, television, hairdryer and central heating. A third building houses the ancillary services, such as the self-service restaurant which seats 200, the a la carte restaurant, where the best of Galician cuisine can be enjoyed, a generous café with terrace, reception area, a cyber, wifi network in common areas and laundry.
