All the staff were very friendly especially lovely Marta, she was really kind towards us and my kids and always went the extra mile. The car park attendant was also very helpful and lovely. They both deserve a special mention. The brekfast buffet was delicous with lots of choice. The location is excellent, located right opposite the beach and close to all the restaurants and bars. When we had finished our stay at the hotel we came back to find that the staff had even washed our car windows. We will definitley be coming back next summer. Josie, Richard Emily and Florence.
We stayed at Meliá in A Coruña after a disappointing hotel experience in Santander, and the difference was immediately noticeable. This hotel felt like a proper 4-star stay from the moment we entered the building. The room was beautiful, clean, bright and very comfortable, with a lovely sea view and a small balcony overlooking the water. Everything felt well maintained and thoughtfully prepared. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and well equipped, and the overall design of the room made the stay feel calm and relaxing. What we appreciated most was the attention to detail. Bathrobes and slippers were provided, as well as beach towels, which made perfect sense given the hotel’s location by the sea. These small touches made the stay feel much more premium and much better aligned with what we expect from a 4-star hotel. Room service was also excellent. We asked for pimientos de padrón, but they were not available. Instead, when the order arrived, the team surprised us with roasted red peppers, which were delicios. The location is also very good, with easy access to the seafront and beautiful views over the bay. Overall, this was one of the most pleasant hotel stays of our trip. The room, the view, the service and the thoughtful details all made the experience feel worth it. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting A Coruña.
Came with my 1,5 year daughter and unfortunately the rooms barely get dark until sunset as the curtains don’t really work. The acoustic is really poor so you hear all footsteps, sounds and movement inside and outside of the building. Unfortunately a very sleepless night. Staff is super nice and forthcoming! Breakfast was delicious.
A nice compact room with all the facilities, including fridge, large screen tv and plenty of sockets. Booked a room with sea view balcony but dropped a point because the sunbed was dirty and there was no extra towels or cover to put on it. Breakfast was very good with a large range of choices and mugs for tea. Service was excellent. Wifi was excellent, the bathroom clean and the shower powerful and a large safe within the room. Secure underground parking for the motorbike and discounted as we were members.
Spectacular seaview room – so relaxing and unforgettable! Perfect location with an easy 10‑minute beach stroll to restaurants and cafés. Room and bathroom were excellent. Huge thanks to Alba and her colleague at concierge for their friendly, professional help when I booked the wrong year. Loved every moment! 🌊✨
