Martin Codax Bodega was founded in 1986 in Cambados,the capital of the Salnes valley in the very heart of the Rias Baixas. It has quickly established itself as one of Galicia's most famous wines at the international level.

The winery uses the aromatic,albarino grape.This has a high sugar content and a high degree of acidity that gives it an exclusive freshness and personality. It's now the most celebrated and valued under the Rias Baixas Denomination.

Martin Codax is the official wine of Xacobeo 2010.
