This is a great winery to visit as you can combine with a trip to see Monterrei Castle which dominates the skyline. Ask to have a look around and this is the cleanest working winery we've ever visited in Galicia. If you visit on a late sunday you may catch a visit from the owner,Roberto Verino!
Terra do Gargalo was opened in 1998 by one of Spain's most influential fashion designers, Robert Verino. Since then the winery has been producing a variety of red and white wines.The winery is open seven days a week and there is a wine shop in the premises, however visits to the winery are by appointment only.
