This was an exceptional dining experience, every bit deserving of its Michelin recognition and so much more. We decided to have the tasting menu, which included nearly every dish (and two desserts!) and each dish left us impressed. The service was above and beyond: taking care to explain each dish in detail as it was served, recommending quality wine pairings throughout the night. I recommend making a reservation and coming hungry!

This is arguably the best restaurant I’ve ever been to, I was fortunate to visit some other Michelin star restaurants whilst travelling in Spain, but this topped them all, each dish blew me away. I had the most amazing seat on the bar watching the chefs perfect their craft, it was perfect. I was in shock when they brought me the bill, you will not find better food for that price anywhere worldwide, they could easily be charging double. If you’re near Santiago please visit, could not recommend enough!

Anaco impresses with exceptional cooking, especially its seafood. Prawn, lobster, fish and crab dishes were consistently excellent, with balanced sauces and confident execution. Each course felt distinct yet cohesive, showing impressive creativity and restraint. Highlights included the sashimi with potato and aged sherry vinegar, as well as a thoughtfully prepared steak tartare. Desserts were equally well considered, particularly the cheese ice cream with truffle and crumble, which provided a memorable finish. The wine pairings complemented the menu well and reflected a strong understanding of progression. Service was warm, professional and knowledgeable, though greater consistency and attentiveness would elevate the experience further. Small details such as water refills and table maintenance occasionally required prompting. Overall, Anaco stands out for its refined, creative cooking and clear culinary vision. The food alone makes it worth visiting, and with a little more polish in the dining room, it has the potential to become one of the city’s standout destinations.

The tasting menu here is amazing, each dish is very good, but having the opportunity to try so many and such variety brings the meal to another level. I would not want to pick just a few and miss out on trying the others. The way the dishes are cooked and served also seems best appreciated in small tasting portions. Favorites for me were the hake pilpil and dessert with truffle. The service is excellent.

What an amazing meal. This was my first proper meal in Santiago on the day I arrived. You can do a la carte since they don’t have that many items on the menu, but I opted for the tasting. The amesaposta option ends up getting you a total of 11 plates. The first portion was an appetizer sample of 3 different pieces followed by 8 different plates of some of the best things I’ve ever eaten and ended with 2 different types of desserts. That’s a total of 11 different plates. I mean it when I say every single plate was original and delicious. Not a single thing was disappointing. If anything, I kept getting more and more impressed as the tasting kept going. The highlights for me was the fish sitting in a bed of oil. My gosh, every bite left me wanting more and more. That octopus was a banger. The crunchy kale really complimented it. The fried clams surprised me in the best way. Whatever that was cooked in needs to be bottled and sold. And lastly, the way the fried egg was prepared is exactly how I want to eat my eggs forever. Crispy on the outside and runny in the middle. The presentation got me weak in the knees. For real The service was outstanding. Even the way the person came over to explain every dish was so personalized. Almost whispering as to not bother the other diners. I loved the approach. I wish they had a wine pairing available, but it’s currently not an option. I did enjoy the vermouth I got. Considering the amount of food you get and how truly amazing it all is, I don’t understand why they’re only charging 50€ Literally all hits. Not one dish was disappointing. Take all my monies Thank you chef and the whole team for one of the best meals I’ve had.
