Os Buratos dos Mouros is one of the best-known and beautiful ancient gold mine in the impressive Serra da Groba, with outstanding views over the Vigo ria and Miñor valley. The circular walk, 6 km and 3 hours long round trip, starts at the archaeological site of Chan do Cereixo, and goes through the 'garranos' environment (feral horses descended from those of the Neolithic) to the place of the mine. In Os Buratos, a specialist tells the Gallaico-Roman works and the geological and historical context of the gold-cycle.
