Fabulous Calimari- the best for a long long time. The croquettes were also awsome. Get here early as the queue was 25 strong by 1.30. We didn't have it but the Fish platter looked amazing. Wine also delicious.
This was by far my culinary gem of Vigo! Had it in mind for our arrival but didn't work out due to a delay in my schedule. We were determined to try it in the last day and were so passed out that we tried a couple spots we eyeballed but they were all packed and even turned away a couple hosts and promoters offering their places. We scored literally the last table with JUST enough trying before the kitchen would close. We were greeted veru kindly and served right away and offered some treats on the house. The Andalusian Calamares were the best we've had and the Pimientos de Padrón were delicious! Then the Arroz con Marisco!!!!! The Albariño was excellent and very reasonably priced. Their dessert menu looked amazing but we just had no space. This was meant to be and I'm very grateful that everything lined up in a way we visited this gem. Don't miss it!
The main reason we came was to try authentic, fresh seafood.. and it did NOT disappoint. For €72 you can fulfill all your seafood dreams. Everything was delicious from start to finish, unbelievable flavor, worth every cent. And the dessert is a must really! We were full and didn’t want more but they convinced us and I’m glad they did. Homemade dessert and you can truly taste the freshness. 10/10 experience.
Galician food is well know and always praised for restaurants like this. The sea food, fish, meat, wines and much more appear on a more than correct menu, with starters, main and desserts, although the fish and sea food are the key elements. Excellent wine list with diversity and quality seems just fine. Great location at fishers street with a nice terrace and indoors tables, great service and ambient that makes it magnificent. The price is mid / high but the quality of ingredients and dishes makes it worth it. So a must for anyone visiting Vigo, or anything close. It can be for a daily meal or a celebration, although the experience would simply be memorable, so just enjoy it!
My wife and I had an incredible experience at Casa Vella. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The staff were extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even more special. The atmosphere is just as impressive—such a beautiful place with a warm, welcoming vibe. If you’re visiting Vigo, this is truly a must-visit restaurant. Highly recommend!
