Great experience. We were looking for a nice place for dinner around the city and this was a gem! The venue is really nice. We decided to go for the Origin Menu and it was fantastic. I mean pictures will prove that. I still have dreams with the Vieira and the canelòn. It was exceptional
Has a Bib Gourmand from Michelin, so, my expectations were somewhat high. Atmosphere and service were great. My thoughts on the food: The Spanish mackerel was easily my favorite dish. The potato waffles were also interesting but a bit more eel would have made them better. The steak tartar was entirely overwhelmed by the brioche which was very sweet and thick. I could not at all taste any of the beef which seemed barely seasoned. Even the cheese on top didn't register. The beef cannelloni was okay, but also lacked favor dynamic. One server recommended the flan, so I tried it. It had nothing to do with a classic flan, which he didn't explain. It was basically a super sweet cream in slightly solid form topped with a bunch of whipped cream. It was the worst desert I had in the last few years. So, overall, the food was a bit bland and in other cases too sweet.
A great option for a casual fine dining in Vigo. the restaurant is small and quiet, with a nice modern and minimalistic interior. they offer a tasting menu with 5 salty dishes and two desserts or an option with 8 plus 2. we took the smaller option and added one racion of the Cannelon which is absolutely spectacular. all the courses were very lovingly prepared and displayed and tasteful. highlights were the Scallops and the Cocochas de bacalao - as well as the desserts. the staff was very friendly and professional and knowledgeable about food and wine. give it a try!
Our first meal in Vigo! We ordered a la carte, and four dishes were more than enough for the two of us. Every plate was beautifully prepared. The only small miss for me was the seasonal rice, which was a bit too salty for my liking, but everything else was absolutely amazing, especially considering the price.
It’s our new favorite restaurant in Vigo after two dinners here. We liked every single dish - each one has a good balance of flavors. You can tell from the dishes that the chef is a well traveled person and he brought his experience and expertise in cooking. They serve each dish split into two when you go for a la carta. The whole team is incredibly nice, desert was absolutely excellent. Reservation is strongly recommended as they get full quickly. Life is good when you have great food! We will come back!
