My husband and I had the time of our lives at Gumer. Such a delicious Spanish/Asian fusion tasting menu at a wonderful price! We also decided to treat ourselves to the wine pairing. Roi was a wonderful waiter and sommelier, so kind - attentive - and informative. 10/10 for a treat in Pontevedra! You can do à la carte too if you just want to get one or two dishes!
We let the chef choose the dishes—what a wonderful experience! Perfectly prepared, with well-matched wines. In short, highly recommended!
We looked for good reviews for a restaurant open on a Monday evening. We turned up without a reservation & were warmly welcomed by the waiting staff who continued their excellent start throughout our meal. Their English was really good & their advice on the dishes (my wife is vegetarian) was excellent. The food was beautifully presented and obviously prepared by excellent chefs. I would listen to the staff & expect to be well fed for £30 -£40 per person (without drinks). Enjoy
Excellent food and service. Had the Tuna Nigiri, King prawn taco, potato salad and chocolate cake. Will definitely come back if we’re in Pontevedra again!
Went to Gumer for lunch when passing through Pontevedra and both the food and service were amazing. Can’t speak for everything on the menu; from the suggestions of the patron, we had - tomato salad (4/5), langoustine tacos (5/5) and tuna and spicy mayo fried nigiri (5/5), fantastic suggestions. The person serving us was friendly, speaking English, French and Italian! Overall a great experience, hope I can go back to try more food.
