A most delightful place to dine, where the food proved not merely excellent, but wonderfully surprising. The artful mingling of flavours—combinations I would never have imagined to harmonise—was executed with remarkable skill. The staff were unfailingly courteous and most helpful, especially as our Spanish was far from fluent. The gentle music in the background perfectly complemented the warm and lively atmosphere of this charming little tapas bar, nestled upon a bustling street in the very heart of A Coruña. An exceptional establishment indeed, and one to which we shall most certainly return.

First of all, the food: classic at its core, yet elevated through modern techniques and thoughtful combinations. Some of the best food I’ve had at a restaurant of this level, especially given the casual, unpretentious setting. The atmosphere suffers slightly from the space itself, but the service is absolutely spotless and more than makes up for it. You simply won’t find a better meal for this price in A Coruña. Just book and go. I’ll definitely be back.
