Rogelia takes great care to ensure that all the appetizers are varied and delicious. The variety is best seen in the advertisements. Afterwards, we had roast lamb with small, round potatoes, which was absolutely delicious, followed by mille-feuille with ice cream and poached pear, coffee, and a glass of wine, all accompanied by white and red Mencía and Rioja wines. Highly recommended.
You have to book a year in advance. The owner is very friendly and presents a tableside spread of countless tapas. She has some very interesting objects. The main course, lamb with side dishes, was delicious. Next to each plate was a card with a message. A very original touch. The dining room has a wood-burning fireplace, which is very welcome in this cold weather.
We made a reservation for 20 people. We had to book 14 months in advance, as it's a very popular place, but… spoiler alert: it's worth it! The service is fantastic. Rogelia takes great care with every detail, and the decor and theme are very elaborate! The food is exquisite, and there's so much of it… it's impossible to try all the pintxos she makes! Although it's very tempting, as each one looks better than the last! When we arrived, everything was ready, with decorations and cold pintxos. Then she brought out a variety of hot pintxos, followed by a meat tasting as the main course. Dessert, drinks, and coffee were included. She also prepared a dessert table for us. A VERY IMPORTANT aspect is that one of our guests had a severe food allergy. They adapted the menu so that this person could attend the meal, with everything being carefully monitored. They offered a variety of options and were always very attentive to this issue, which was greatly appreciated. The cost per person was €50, money very well spent!
