Very cozy and local friendly establishment. The food is absolutely great and the prices are affordable. Parking is impossible close, but there several parking locations around town and within 5-10 minutes you are there. Do make a reservation and after 2100 you might be lucky to get a table, but for a solo traveller, the bar or common table is a great option as well. They serve a lot of local food and have a good option for wines and beers.
This is such an excellent place to eat! The service was superb and the food was awesome. The waitresses are very friendly and will recommended you options for wines or food. They also have gluten free bread which is always nice. Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Food 10/10 Make sure you book a table before going as is very hard to get one.
A must! We walked in and managed to get a table for two - it was busy and all outside spaces were taken. Our waitress was lovely, and quickly bought over some samples for us to enjoy (the bread is amazing) Each dish we ordered was absolutely delicious and the Rioja was outstanding, so much so that we emailed after our trip tonfind more information - they quickly responded with the details and photos of the bottle. I would happily go back there again again.
Restaurant is beautiful and the staff is very polite. I tried octopus, of grilled prawns and grilled squid and all very good, squid especially. I think that 1.5 portion is quite enough to get full. Also wine selection is quite broad and glass costs around 3 euros.
Melt-in-your-mouth Octopus This place is so good we went back the next time we were in A Coruña. It's also easy to get to - just a couple of short blocks from the main square (the one with the Obelisk). I have never had Octopus so tender and flavorful. The generous portion comes with potatoes, crusty bread and a starter for 20 Euros. Also enjoyed a couple of glasses of Estrella beer - so refreshing. Also recommend the Scallops and the Prawns. The staff is welcoming and attentive. If you have never tried Octopus, get out of you safety zone and give it a go - I'm betting you will be glad you did.
