Martin Codax Bodega ble grunnlagt i 1986 i Cambados, hovedstaden i Salnes-dalen i hjertet av Rias Baixas. Det har raskt etablert seg som en av Galicias mest kjente viner på internasjonalt nivå.

Vingården bruker den aromatiske albarino-druen. Denne har et høyt sukkerinnhold og en høy syregrad som gir den en eksklusiv friskhet og personlighet. Det er nå den mest feirede og verdsatte under Rias Baixas-betegnelsen.

Martin Codax er den offisielle vinen til Xacobeo 2010.
