I didn't stay in the hotel but visit group of friend who did camino. The service I got from reception miss Antia very helpfull and really lucky for the hotel to have very hard working personnel.
The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The staff kind and with a smile. Unfortunately we had an uncomfortable situation during breakfast time. Our group, 20 people, were having our breakfast in order to continue our walk to reach Santiago De Compostela. Some of us didn't eat their breakfast and decided to take it with since our journey was a long one. Basically a piece of bread and cheese. The staff got aggressive saying that we can not take the food with us, and they were standing over our heads like the police ready to arrest us in the event we did not comply. Let me clarify that the food was already in our plate. Half eaten. So it would go in the bin anyway. Of course we didnt go to the buffet to take something extra. That would be inconsiderate on our part. The way they handled it was unexceptable, unkind and rude.
