We were invited to a retirement party. I was completely unfamiliar with the area and the venue, but it couldn't have been more rewarding. The service was incredibly fast, attentive, professional, and friendly, always on top of things. A 10 out of 10, truly! The set menu included octopus (flavorful, perfectly cooked, and piping hot, which was a real plus), garlic prawns (just the right amount of spice, unlike the oily ones you find elsewhere), scallops (delicious and well-prepared), cod (I didn't try it, but everyone who ordered it raved about it), and grilled Iberian pork shoulder (a wonderfully smoky flavor and incredibly juicy). For dessert, there was a homemade cake, very refreshing. If I had to mention a fault, the coffee, brewed in a pot, was very weak. The liqueurs were served from bottles on the table and chilled. The drinks included Albariño and soft drinks. It was truly excellent. We'll be back. I don't know the price because we were guests, but the quality surprised me. The venue is very spacious, perfect for weddings, and the bathrooms are clean. If I had to mention a drawback, it would be that the high ceilings and large crowds make it a bit noisy, but bearable. The air conditioning is a tad strong at first, but you get used to it and it's much appreciated. Honestly, it was excellent. Highly recommended!! Just a heads up... BOOK NOW OR YOU WON'T GET A PLACE! 😉
Spacious restaurant with plenty of tables and ample room. Service was adequate, although there was a long wait. There were only three waiters for the entire dining area. Value for money: The portions were reasonable, especially on the set menu (€14 including dessert and coffee). Slightly cheaper than other places, although the food didn't impress us, except for the salad.
Un restaurante amplio con varias zonas, en Portas, un servicio impecable, camareros atentos y profesionales. La comida muy buena, buenas raciones, y todo a un precio muy correcto. Una mención especial a lis postres caseros muy ricos. 😋 Celebramos un cumpleaños del abuelo y todo muy bien. Lo recomendamos sin duda.
I really liked the place, although I don't know if it was because it was raining today, but many of us were saying that the floor was slippery, so depending on your shoes, it was a bit uncomfortable walking around the restaurant or getting to the bathroom. The food was delicious and well-prepared, and the staff was attentive, but don't go if you're in a hurry; it gets very busy and the food takes a while to arrive. There's parking nearby, which is great.
