The pulpo was insanely good—served piping hot and honestly the best octopus I’ve ever eaten in Galicia! We originally wanted to order calamari, but since they were out, we got the chipirones fritos instead. They were incredibly tender and hot; with just a squeeze of lemon and a pinch of salt, they tasted absolutely perfect. When ordering, the owner sweetly advised us to wait before adding more dishes, saying this would be enough—such a lovely and honest approach! 💜 We ended up adding pimientos padrón later, which were perfectly fried. For dessert, we had the tarta de 3 chocolates, which was light and airy, just like a mousse. Highly recommended!
The very best! Super fast to sit down and to eat. We arrived at 8:15pm and a table was available. The owner came by and was very friendly. He asked where we were from and keep referring to our town. He was fun and works very hard. Our waitress was also very nice and provided excellent service. The food was extremely fresh and cooked perfectly. The portions were good and we enjoyed everything. Thank you for providing us with such a delicious meal and friendly family atmosphere. A great last meal before flying home from our Camino pilgrimage. God is so good to us!!!
Super local food and such friendly service. Great quality food which was DELICIOUS. Highly recommend. Though if you want a place inside you MUST reserve a place. We were lucky and got a place outside though we had luck to have a blue and sunny sky. It's run by a local family and they have so many regulars it's lovely to see. 5 stars.
What a lovely gem! The family running the business is kind and no-nonsense with both the kitchen and service, you'll definitely won't wait too long. And what you get is amazingly delicious and fresh, from the octopus to the scallops, croquettes and even the tapas, at highly affordable prices. Very popular with locals so either arrive early (for Spanish meal times) or make a reservation. After my first visit, I was so impressed by them I returned for my last meal in the city as well and I will be sure to make a third one if I'm back in Galicia!
