The food was delicious, but the service left a lot to be desired. We arrived around 3 PM, so they were already running low on stock—they were out of lubina and only had two vieiras left. On top of that, they forgot one of our orders. To make matters worse, by 4 PM they started cleaning up around us without any care that we were still sitting there, which felt quite rude. Fantastic food, but the hospitality needs work
Generally speaking, mediocre for the price. Over priced for what we ordered. Iberico ham was delicious! Lobster salad was too salty, even with the sauce. Not much of lobster, not much to call it a salad. Chopped tomatoes. The balance was off. French toast was ok. As for the service, 2 out of 3 waiter/waitress were good. 1 waitress was just horrible. Rude. Was asked “What do you want?!” For a supposedly high rated seafood restaurant, we sure did not expect that.
Had an amazing red shrimp rice. And beef tartare to start, also perfect. A very classy restaurant with warm professional service. Highly recommend
The Arroz de Carabineros was outstanding, one of the best rice dishes I've had. The scarlet shrimps are served whole, the rice is deeply flavourful and cooked perfectly. You can tell they work with top quality, fresh ingredients. Be aware that the rice takes about 25-30 minutes, because it's made fresh to order, which is absolutely worth the wait. Great service, pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended if you're in A Coruña!
Service was excellent. Food well prepared apart from the tasteless truffle (I am paying big money for it and you could barely smell it). Atmosphere is excellent. Prices not so good. I found it slightly overpriced with a rice with lobster at 100EUR for two. On a separate note. The coffee cup is part of a promotional kit of glassware given by the coffee supplier. Also, the glass gallery I had next to me is pretty dusty and needs clean. Overall, an excellent experience but when you charge that much, I set my standards all the way up.
