The best calamares a la romana in town! Loved every food item we had and went back for more. The staff is amazing and very attentive. Will definitely be back next time we visit Vigo.
Nice place in the heart of the old town, close to the Cathedral. Offers indoor and outdoor seating. On a Friday night outdoor was busy so I sat indoor. The service was good although the waiters were very busy. The food was good, reasonable prices. The gambas al anillo were not as good as I would expect but still ok
We only had a few hours to spend in Vigo and my wife is vegan and my son and myself are both vegetarian. Although we could find a few places that were vegan, they all appeared to be closed on the day we were there. We did however come across this place and it was fantastic. Whilst they do not have a specific vegan and vegetarian menu, many of there dishes are and we had a wonderful time Spanish tapas. The padron peppers were cooked to perfection with lots of coarse salt, Just the way we like them. We also had some fried cheese wedges which my son and I loved and the grilled vegetables was a vibrant plate packed full of asparagus, tomato, peppers and aubergine and again that tasted delicious piled on top of the fresh bread we also ordered. The one thing I love about tapas bars, is even if you just order drinks, you usually get a little tapas to accompany it and this was no exception. With our drinks, we were given a bowl of green olives and some delicious tiny empanadas which we think were filled with pureed pumpkin carrot and they were absolutely delicious. I particularly love the fact that a large glass of beer only cost €3.50, something we haven't seen the UK since 2016! If you visit Vigo, I heartly recommend this taperia and if the weather is great, sit outside as the square it is situated on is vibrant and full of life.
We stopped for a lazy break while visiting. Staff were kind and helpful. We chose it for the name. My Steffanie rarely sees it spelled with an f.
