Scuba Galicia

Scuba Galicia is a dive centre located at the entrance of a small village called Ares, in the northern part of the province of La Coruña. Due to its location, right in the Ares estuary, between La Coruña and Ferrol estuaries, it is a brilliant location to practice scuba diving. In the estuary you can enjoy the great diversity of the sea beds which makes it possible to make a wide range of dives: shipwrecks,arches, swimthroughs, pinnacles, drift dives with surface coverage and most are just 5-10 minutes away.

The premises is perfectly equipped with hot water showers, compressed air and Nitrox filling 12 pax RIB specially designed for scuba diving. Its powerful 150 HP Honda VTEC is capable of reaching speeds close to 50 knots.

The area is a beautiful and traditional fishing village which nowadays is more tourist orientated, although most of the houses still keep the fishing village appearance. Visiting Ares is to encounter tranquillity, its surroundings invite you to take a stroll and relax,enjoy its quiet and wide sandy beaches, visit monuments, taste delicious tapas along the promenade bars and talking to friendly locals you will discover an enchanting village.
