Description
Discover the Serra do Suído on an exciting guided 4WD tour and explore one of the most authentic and little-known landscapes in Galicia. For approximately 5 hours, you'll drive along mountain tracks through Atlantic forests, past waterfalls, lagoons, and natural vantage points with spectacular views.
Along the way, you'll explore places steeped in history and tradition, such as old shepherds' shelters (chozos), 16th-century buildings, and the fascinating foxos do lobo, traditional traps used for wolf hunting. You'll also visit unique places such as the Casariños Waterfall or Os Prados River Beach, where you can enjoy a break in the heart of nature and take a dip in crystal-clear waters.
Accompanied by expert local guides, you'll discover the natural and cultural heritage of the area, learning about the flora, fauna, and ancient ways of life linked to this region. The experience includes a picnic break in a stunning setting, in the heart of the mountain range.
This activity combines adventure, nature, and history, offering a different way to connect with Galicia, far from the traditional tourist trails. Ideal for those looking for an authentic, immersive experience in direct contact with the natural environment. The route starts and ends in the center of Fornelos de Montes (Pontevedra).
