Begin your journey with pickup from your preferred location in Braga and head towards Galicia, where your adventure begins at the spectacular Encoro das Conchas reservoir, built along the Lima River. For the ancient Romans, the Lima was associated with the legendary Lethes — the River of Forgetfulness. According to legend, anyone who crossed its waters would lose their memory.
Continue to the Lethes Viewpoint for beautiful views over the Lima River and surrounding valley, before heading to the Xurés Viewpoint, where you can admire the mountains and valleys of the Baixa Limia–Serra do Xurés protected area.
Next, discover Aquis Querquennis, one of the region's most remarkable Roman archaeological sites. Explore the remains of an ancient Roman military camp alongside the old Via Nova and step back almost two thousand years into the history of the Iberian Peninsula.
After exploring the Roman heritage, slow down at the Roman thermal springs of Bande. Relax in the naturally warm waters and enjoy a peaceful break surrounded by nature.
Continue to Lobios for a taste of Galicia with traditional tapas. Enjoy local flavours and a relaxed atmosphere before heading to the beautiful Os Miliarios recreation area, located alongside the clear waters of the Caldo River. Take a short walk, enjoy the scenery, or simply relax by the river.
As the day winds down, arrive at the Caldaria de Lobios and enjoy its warm thermal waters surrounded by the mountains of the Spanish Gerês. As this is a private tour, the pace can be adapted to your preferences whenever possible.
Rather than rushing back to Braga, choose to stay longer in the thermal waters and enjoy the transition from daylight to night. At this point you may even have the opportunity to admire the spectacular starry sky above the Gerês mountains, far from city lights.
