Description
This personalized bus tour covers La Coruna, known as the “Crystal City,” led by the Tower of Hercules, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is tailored for cruise schedules, providing an efficient local service to showcase key city highlights.
The tour starts and ends near the Cruise Terminal, just a 3-minute walk from the ships. It includes four stops for sightseeing and photo opportunities. The route begins at Marine Avenue, highlighting why La Coruna is called the “City of Glass.” Next, the tour continues along the old city walls to the Castle of San Anton.
The first stop is at the Castle of San Anton, a 16th-century fortress now serving as the city’s archaeological museum. Historically, this building functioned as a defensive fortress, prison, and sanatorium for sailors.
Afterward, the tour follows Europe’s longest promenade (13 km) to the Tower of Hercules, where there is a 25-minute stop for a walk and photos overlooking the estuary.
