Description
Gain entry to Lugo Cathedral, a landmark with origins dating back to the late Roman period. Although the original temple no longer exists, the existing structure began in the 12th century and developed over centuries.
The cathedral features a distinctive mix of styles, including a Romanesque north door and a Neoclassical west façade. Inside, visitors will find a Churrigueresque altar surrounded by stained glass and an elongated, narrow floor plan unique among Hispanic cathedrals.
The entry ticket includes access to the Cathedral Museum, which houses archaeological exhibits and an art collection featuring works by Cornielles de Holanda, Joannes de Boloña, and other artists.
