Local tip
Try the calamares (squid rings) with a glass of albariño sitting in the terrace enjoying the sun and historical scene

Tabena A Capela is well located facing Plaza Liberata and its two ancient churches in one of the best parts of Baiona. It has a large terrace facing the public square which is south facing and A Capela is popular with the local residents.

Tabena A Capela is a bar which serves a range of wines and beers. It also has a capacity for 70 persons serving great tapas including a range of seafood such as octopus, squid rings, cockles, clams as well as Padron Peppers, tortilla and chorizo.

Although it's away from the main concentration of bars/restaurants in Baiona it's close to ample car parking facilities and it's a good place to escape the hustle and bustle of tourists and to mix with the friendly, local people. José Manuel Nieto, the owner and Marina, the cook and the rest of his team will ensure you have a warm welcome and great service.
