Reviews
Lar do Pazo is a place not to be missed. Although it requires a short detour from the original Camiño route, you are rewarded with a peaceful, sunny setting surrounded by nature and animals. Iago and his family are tireless hosts and incredibly kind. Their care, dedication, and attention to detail are evident in everything they do. Even though the property is in a more secluded location, it has everything a pilgrim needs to prepare a good meal and enjoy a proper rest. The rooms are spacious, and having private bathrooms instead of shared ones is a real advantage. Everything was exceptionally clean. I also noticed that they sell hiking shoes and other Camiño essentials, which I found both thoughtful and very useful. There is also a washing machine and a dryer, although there are plenty of clotheslines available for drying laundry in the sun. The outdoor area and the terrace are perfect places to relax, socialize, and unwind after a long day’s walk. You can truly see the exceptional attention to detail and the care and passion Iago has put into every corner of the property. He genuinely cares about the comfort, well-being, and rest of every pilgrim. For me, this is a place I would happily return to and one that I will recommend to everyone walking the Camiño. A true inspiration! Thank you, Iago, for your dedication and for the care you’ve put into every detail. I sincerely hope your project is a great success!
Lovely spot to spend the night on the Camino. I loved all the farm animals and there are plenty of food and drinks for sale at reasonable prices. Recommend.
A true oasis on the Camino. Great service, great rooms, and the most charming animals to bring you joy while you enjoy your respite. The host is more than kind and we had a hard time leaving. Would recommend any day!
This is a lovely hotel in a peaceful location. The rooms are clean, the kitchen is well-equipped, and best of all, the owner is very friendly and kind. She helped me right away when I had a problem, which I really appreciated. I would love to stay here again.
