The Winery

Bodegas Aldea de Abaixo brings together six harvesters with a long family tradition in the wine world, cultivating vineyards that pass from generation to generation, owners of vineyards with vines over fifty years, the winery that makes a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. Located in Novas, the heart of the 'O Rosal' Valley a short distance from Muiños 'Folon and Picon', real cultural attractions make Aldea de Abaixo a visit in the 'Baixo Miño'. The winery has the most modern facilities for a careful vinification: pneumatic press, stainless steel tanks for controlled fermentation, refrigeration equipment for stabilization in isothermal barrel, and other elements necessary to obtain two of the most exquisite wines from the Denomination of Origin Rías Baixas.

Tender loving care in selecting the best albariño grapes from the Rosal valley, a technique that combines exceptional craftsmanship and tradition, they do stress about being one of the winning wines.

Tasting: bright light, shows an attractive greenish-yellow. Of complex aromas, scarred by memories of crisp apple compote and echoes of herbs. Stresses its large structure fruity in the mouth, tender and sweet tooth, filling the palate consus elegant and intense varietal flavors.

'O Rosal' Wine

Characteristic of the pampered mixture of varieties native to the area, clearly defining the real Rosal. Their extraordinary potential was reflected in various awards in competitions and wine tastings.

Tasting: striking yellow-green with faint steely glare. Emphasize its floral aromas along with sharp memories of soft ripe fruit and balsamic notes. On the palate is fresh and sweet tooth is a young wine, fleshy, to adjust acidity and a powerful final.
