Exceptional place and exceptional staff. Can't fault it.
We had a wonderful time. The facilities were either brand new or very well maintained. Everything was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. The place is very quiet, and you can sleep with the windows open without any problem (although there is also air conditioning). Breakfast was the perfect finishing touch 😍. Every detail was thoughtful. You can tell how much care they've put into Caseta de Sil. There's parking right in front.
We stayed for a week in the Os Miñarzos room. It's spacious and opens onto a private terrace with a small table and chairs, from which you can access a shared garden with several armchairs. The room was spotless and very new. It was cleaned and ready every day, with fresh towels. No detail was overlooked. María and her husband treated us wonderfully; they were attentive to guests and provided lots of helpful information about the area. The breakfast is prepared with care. It includes quality capsule coffee, hot chocolate, tea, milk, a bottle of freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries, fruit, and toast with a variety of jams and butter. It's located in Lira, right across from the port, and is a very peaceful place, offering a tranquility that completely resets you. Next door, there's a wooden boardwalk leading to a beautiful beach, surrounded by trees and a picnic area overlooking the sea. To get around, I recommend a car, as there are three restaurants within walking distance and a small supermarket. Muros, a much larger town, is nearby, where you can enjoy tapas and stroll along its seafront promenade. We arrived in San Juan and the local burger place prepared a barbecue and a sardine feast. The people were very friendly, and we immediately joined in. I recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday, whether as a couple or with friends, with scenery that combines unspoiled, secluded beaches with forests.
A fantastic experience! We had a wonderful two days. The area is peaceful, with hiking trails and beaches nearby. The hosts are very friendly. The place is spotlessly clean; it's clearly well-maintained. The breakfast was perfect, and they accommodated our preferred times. The only thing I would suggest to make the experience truly exceptional is adding cards or a board game to pass the time if it gets cloudy.
An absolutely fantastic place!! It exceeded our expectations. The accommodation is brand new, and both the kitchen and the bedrooms are fully equipped. You won't want for anything. They give you a very convenient magnetic key, there are two great common areas for relaxing, a private terrace with a table in the room, Wi-Fi, and parking outside. We stayed in the Monte Pindo room. Breakfast is fantastic, served in a basket to be collected from the door of the room, and the pastries were surprisingly delicious. The bread for the toast was also outstanding. The location is ideal. Right on the port, opposite a small beach, with two bars very close by and parking right outside. I highly recommend going to the beach next to the apartment, where the rocks begin. The apartment is in a prime location, and that long beach is beautiful at sunset, with rocks and not crowded at all. I don't know if it's the best spot for the bathroom, but it's definitely worth taking a stroll around and exploring it, especially since the apartment is right next door. You can tell the owners put a lot of care into everything. They provide thoughtful touches like slippers, bathrobes, and even breakfast preferences. Everything was wonderful, with details that make all the difference and show their dedication to providing the best possible experience for their guests. I should mention that we had a problem the morning we were leaving. Since we couldn't even stop for breakfast on time, we ended up leaving later than planned, but María didn't mind at all. She was a fantastic host and a wonderful person. Thank you so much! 🙏🏼🫶🏼 Keep in mind that if there are other guests in the rooms when you arrive, you'll have to share the kitchen, which might limit your ability to cook or use the table if you're there at the same time. We had the whole place to ourselves, and it was fantastic. Minor things to improve: - Instructions for the jacuzzi - The proximity lights in the hallway turn off quite quickly - A fair amount of water comes out when using the shower despite the screen - Blinds would be perfect for those of us who are sensitive to light and used to sleeping in total darkness
