Description

We will begin the visit at the museum of the Cathedral of Santiago. Here we will find the most important works of art in the city and also rooms of the Cathedral itself such as its library, the cloister, the treasure room, the Chapter House... Next we will enter the cathedral to admire its imposing altar, we will see its main chapels, we will admire the famous Botafumeiro... Do you know what it is used for? We will visit the crypt of the Apostle Santiago and we will understand why it is the destination of thousands of pilgrims from all over the world every year. Finally, we will access the Portico of Glory, considered the jewel of the Romanesque architecture of the cathedral. A complete visit of 2 and a half hours with an expert local guide.
