Menduiña Brewery

Menduiña Brewery is the love child of Alberte and Valeria, who met in Patagonia, Argentina and fell in love with craft beer. Alberte became self-taught home brewer and for several years they visited Europeans and American breweries with a passion.

In 2008 they decided to set up their own brewery in Alberte`s home, Galicia, in the northwest corner of Spain, wich boasts some of the finest spring water of the Peninsula Iberica.

Menduiña Brewery set up a state of the art facility in the seaside town of Cangas and opened for business in 2011 with a portfolio of 6 beers.

The brewery recycles its spent grain to local farmers and is a pioneer in the region with its use of renewable energy such as solar panels for heating water.

Menduiña ales and lagers are unfiltered and unpasteurized and made with 100% natural ingredients; using pure Galician Spring water, the best barley varieties from UK and Germany, and local and imported varieties of fresh hop flowers.
