Saramagal
Galicia
Since opening in 2005, Saramagal's has been formulating and manufacturing its own brew. This family-run microbrewery situated in Barro aims to produce the highest-quality beer possible. Focusing on quality over quantity, Saramagal's is currently producing two types of 100% natural craft beers. The beers are very different and are non-pasteurised, without any additives, colourings or preservatives added. With carefully selected malt, hops and yeast, the beer is 100% handmade, giving them extra flavours and aromas.
Saramagal Stipe is an Indian pale ale with hints of honey. It is dark amber in colour with a bitter taste. Immaculate Saramagal is a blonde ale type, with subtle citrus notes. The beer has a light flavour with moderate sweetness. Both beers are completely different in taste, but contain an equal amount of care put into their process. You can pick up a bottle of the delicious beer, along with useful tips, from the microbrewery as well as from local fairs and markets.
