Very good food - mexican/Asian fusion with good meat. I recommend the maxi quesadilla if you like slightly stronger cheese + it surprised me but I liked it. The Raxo (pork meat) was EXCELLENT.
🌶️ Mahara: A Paradise for Spice Lovers! Mahara is heaven for heat seekers, with 6 spice levels that enhance every bite perfectly. Daredevils, grab the small bottle—survive 5+ drops and you're a legend! We went 2 days in a row and loved their vegan croquetas (setas and chorizo), the zorza, and the tacos. Enjoy their well curated list of craft beers alongside a massive vegan menu (all postres are vegan too!). 100% recommended, especially if you're vegan and want to experience authentic Galician dishes. Mahara proves that traditional cuisine and plant-based dining aren't mutually exclusive—they're a perfect match. 🌶️✨ Gustavo's service was top-notch! 👏✨🤍
Cozy, welcoming restaurant with generous portions. The octoous cachooo de tofu (traditional Galician octopus was amazing and so unique.) Great option in late afternoon when many restaurants are closed.
I’m one who eats meat, especially in a place like Galicia, but Mahara’s cuisine was good enough to make me reconsider my stance! (They do have omnivore products as well, but when in Rome…) The fun-but-not-garish rock vibes, g/n bathrooms, excellent use of the small space, and wide drink selection combined with the great vegan menu make this a fave for sure! Just a shame they don’t have a coffee machine.
