Casa Maiorga is a place with a special charm, where one can enjoy nature in its purest state, surrounded by trees, a small organic garden and descending the steps we reach the beach which has a pier where there is a Catamaran stop which runs through the waters of the Rivers Mino and Sil.

In this house you can eat all kinds of homemade meals,meals to order include house specialties such as:Roast meats, all varieties prepared in a wood oven: Lamb, pork, goat, Galician beef, chicken house, all accompanied with potatoes, onions, carrots, peppers and peas.

Their pies are delicious: cod, tuna, beef, pork and chicken.

Another of the specialties include octopus which is superb, and they also prepare all kinds of rice dishes, including paella, homemade pasta, and for pizza lovers, all types: Neapolitan, ham and cheese, tuna and anchovy, 5 cheese, carbonara, seafood and vegetable and the special Maiorga.

For lovers of vegetarian cuisine, you will find dishes made with ingredients indigenous to the area, an ecological treasure of this land.

The House also offers snacks, such as: grilled small rolls, homemade croquettes, stuffed eggs, homemade salad with ingredients from the garden, meatballs with rice and of course potato omelette with chorizo and red pepper, made by Rosa, an outstanding cook who combines her good work in the kitchen with love in her treatment of the customers, it's like being at home, so come back whenever you can. They also offer a bar service and cafeteria for the rest of the day, from the terrace you can enjoy incredible views of Ribeira Sacra.
