O Curro de Parra
Galicia
Hidden away down an alley in the old town of Santiago de Compostela, O Curro da Parra is self-described as a ‘young and exciting project’ (established in 2010 and owned by experienced London-based restaurateurs), intent on delivering the latest food trends. Situated in a beautiful, archetypal town house, da Parra has retained its original character whilst introducing all the modern touches needed for a successful culinary enterprise.
There are several menu options, for lunch and dinner, all of which are very reasonably priced considering the high quality of service customers can expect. Lunch for two for €11 is a particular bargain, with locally-inspired tapas, Asian-influenced ravioli and surreal seafood (black ink rice and squid, for example) among the enticing choices available. Check out the menus, including 7+ group deals, here. Their wide choice of desserts and specialist wines should also not be missed.
Price range: €11-31.
