We came here for a special dinner during our trip. We arrived right at opening time (19:30) and were seated immediately without a reservation. We chose to sit inside, where the atmosphere was cozy and warm — almost like being in a spacious wine cellar. The staff were patient, accommodating, and attentive throughout the meal. We asked if they could make vegetarian croquetas in addition to the meat ones (not on the menu), and they were happy to do so. The pulpo a feira (thinly sliced octopus in olive oil) was excellent. The tomato salad was delicious — tomatoes were in season, and the staff recommended it. I had the pork shoulder, which was really good. Someone in our group ordered the vegetarian risotto and found it good but not amazing. Another had the cod and said it was okay. Dessert was the highlight. We shared three different ones: the cheesecake was absolutely delicious, and the millefeuille was also great. The chocolate cake with ice cream was just ok. Prices are reasonable, but since we all had drinks (no wine, just juice), starters, mains, and desserts, the total added up — almost 130€ for three people. When paying, the staff simply charged us for what we ordered and didn’t prompt or pressure us to tip, which was genuinely appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent restaurant with a dog friendly interior courtyard. Excellent food. We had the razor clams, padrón peppers, croquetas (two kinds), black seafood rice, Iberian pork cheeks and the aged entrecot steak. Several items were off menu specials. Everything was very good! The mains were in the large size - we had trouble finishing everything. Just a lovely spot for lunch. Definitely book in advance if you can.

The atmosphere is great. We sat in the garden, which is magical. service was very friendly and super fast. The king prawns starters were the highlight of the night, we were extremely happy with our wine selection and even its needs price. The entrecote was good, but could be better. As main dish, I recommend to take the hake.

I think this was one of my best meals in Galicia. Croquettes were super delicious, amazing flavours. The blue fish was raw, accompanied by fresh green snap peas. Cheesecake was gorgeous and light.. and the service was wonderful. I also explored the local neighbourhood. A really welcomed change from the old town.

After trying many restaurants in Santiago de Compostela, this place has easily earned a spot in my top three. The service is excellent, and the kitchen shows real consistency—every dish is well-balanced, with spot-on seasoning and cooking. The starters were very enjoyable overall. The croquettes were outstanding: perfectly crispy on the outside and smooth on the inside, with an impeccable texture. In terms of flavor, my favorites were the mushroom ones, followed by the beef cheek, and then the chorizo. The prawn with corn was tasty, though a bit small for sharing, and not every bite carried the full balance of flavors. The salmon salad could have used just a little more salmon compared to the rest of the ingredients. On the other hand, the Russian salad stood out, with a truly excellent mayonnaise. For mains, the beef cheek is a sure choice—rich, well-executed, and perfectly balanced. The ravioli and the hake felt more refined and culinary-focused, although, like some starters, the portions were slightly on the smaller side for the price. That said, the quality across the board is undeniable. Desserts are highly recommended and definitely worth saving room for. The petit suisse was the most original, and the cheesecake had a lovely sweetness without being heavy or overly rich. Overall, a place with fantastic quality and attention to detail. A few portion adjustments would make the experience even better, but it’s still a restaurant I’ll gladly return to.
