Restaurante Verruga has been serving the people of Lugo for three generations and is still considered to be the most prestigious restaurants in the city. While Verruga has undergone many changes since its 1951 opening, its three main principles remain the same: quality, honesty and service to the public. Just as the key values of the restaurant are still present, so is the original owner, Emilia Vazquez Cadahía, who has led Verruga with her family by her side throughout the years.
Although you will find it to be one of the more expensive places to eat out in Lugo and may not have the most luxurious setting, the distinct family spirit, welcoming atmosphere and attentive service ensures you will enjoy your time here.
