The production of ceramic ware has been the main activity of Sargadelos since it was created in the nineteenth century, when Antonio Raimundo Ibáñez built the first chinaware factory in the north of the province of Lugo.
Sargadelos products stand out for the exquisite craftsmanship applied in the process of manufacturing each of its pieces. All of its chinaware, figures and jewellery in hard porcelain are decorated and finished by hand after leaving the kilns at its factories in O Castro, Sada (A Coruña), and Sargadelos, Cervo (Lugo).
