The Sea Museum is superbly located next to the sea with commanding views of the Ria de Vigo. It's a sensitive conversion of a former historic, factory building used for preserving fish with a contemporary interior.
The Sea Mueum is a place to learn about the history of fishing, the shellfish industry, production, extraction, conservation methods, current investigations and ecosystems both next to the Museum and around the Islas Cies.
The Museum has lots of interesting exhibits including an original submarine and an aquarium.There is also a lighthouse nearby.
