Great location just by the sea front and walking distance from the station. Breakfast was good and the few times we used the bar it also provided some nice food.

From the moment we arrived, the service was cold and unwelcoming. There was no genuine greeting, no sense of hospitality — staff simply stood there and answered basic questions bluntly, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than guests. Parking costs €25 per day, which is hard to justify given the already high room rates. Even more surprising, access to the spa facilities is not included, despite the hotel being advertised as a hotel & spa. For a five-star property, you would expect at least basic access to the spa (excluding treatments) to be included as a courtesy. What really stood out was the lack of basic attention to detail. Not even complimentary water was provided in the room — the only option was paid water from the minibar. This is something even many 2-star hotels provide as standard, and it feels unacceptable at this price point. At checkout, the experience remained just as impersonal. No one asked how our stay was or if we enjoyed it. We were simply told the total amount due for parking and that was it. Overall, the experience felt transactional, unfriendly, and far below five-star standards. The price is simply not justified by the service or the amenities, and we left very disappointed.

Disappointed that the drinks service was extremely slow. The hotel was let down by a young guy waiting tables in the bar. Poor attitude and zero respect for the customer in a 5 star hotel! Also I have never stayed in any hotel throughout the world where they charge €25 per customer per hour to use a tiny swimming pool!! The rest of the hotel staff and service was very good…just a few issues can ruin the experience!
