Great location, wonderful rooms but bike storage is not easily accessible- we stored in our room. Most of the staff are friendly but one male member of staff was very surly. We were on the camino and for our last day didn't need an early start. The breakfast area was a total mess, no clean tables, lots of missing items on the buffet. One poor member of staff working alone to try and tidy and refill. Groups appear to get priority.
I’ve been to many hotels in Spain. This one is remodeled and fresh and clean. It should be amazing. But the staff is truly uncaring and appears utterly indifferent. It’s not like they are rude, they just don’t engage. The food is perhaps a notch above terrible which doesn’t help. I’ve rarely been to a beautiful hotel with such terrible service and whoever runs this place has built a culture entirely at odds with a service culture.
Clean, modern, very much well worth the value. Good breakfast and excellent location. We were originally booked into Corona de Galicia rooms which was less but were referred here (same hotel but different room standards?). Would def stay again, highly recommend
