Adegas Moure, a family owned winery was founded in 1958. They elaborate wines and liqueurs of high quality and prestige which gain the critics' praise with more than 120 national and international prizes Abadía da Cova have won (Bordeaux, Montreal, Brussels, Paris, Verona, Madrid, New York etc ).

When you taste their wines Adegas Moure want it to be a very special moment for you, a moment of celebration that can bring back to mind the legends of Ribeira Sacra and vineyards. They want the nuances of each sip to take you back to the sunniest slope of their grapes. They want to offer you all this in the search for top quality, nothing less than perfection.

The vineyards which are hundreds of years old extend all the way down steeply terraced slopes to the banks of the River Miño. The spectacular views are some of the most emblematic in the whole of Galicia with the meander of the river among dense woodland which people refer to as 'The End of the World' (O Cabo do Mundo).

The Distillery

From one generation to another, they have passed on the art of alchemy, a thousand-year-old art, which is passed down to their children. This is why they started making Orujos and liqueurs in 1958, and in 2003, they built a new distillery to improve and increase production.

Adegas Moure also launched a new spirit in April 2013 following over two years of extensive investigation which is called London Dry Gin,a high quality gin using quality ingredients.
