Condes de Albarei is renowned for its high quality wines, which are made purely from the Albariño grape. Being the first Spanish white wine to win a gold medal at the 'Challenge International du Vin' in Bordeaux, the winery has entered into the international market, selling all over the world.
The appreciation for the wines stems from their celebrated aromatic expression as wells as the long-standing institution of vine growing in Salnes Valley. This area is one of the five areas of Rias Baixas and boasts ideal conditions for growing the Albariño grape, due to the Atlantic's influence on its microclimate.
