Events in Galicia

Fiestas take place throughout Galicia including in small villages to reflect changes in the season.The larger events tend to take place in the cities of Vigo, Santiago de Compostela.Lugo,Ourense and La Coruna.There is also a thriving programme of local events. There is a special series of events during a Holy Year, Xacobeo. There is always something to do in Galicia whatever the season. A fiesta or fair are easy to find and occur virtually every week.
