Granxa Maruxa is a certified,organic dairy farm,located in theu parish of Ulloa near Monterroso ,in the province of Lugo,in the very heart of Galicia. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and an old oak grove which make a special and peaceful place to visit. You can watch the cows feeding or listening to classical music in the cowsheds!
Using the milk from their organic dairy heard and organic ingredients the three woman owners, Marta, Merci y Chus make the Maruxas de Nata whcih are organic and handmade cream biscuits,their flavour recalls times gone by. These are made in the Galletería (Bakery),inside the Farm;there are 200g small boxes and 400g bags.
Local products,such as honey,organic infusions or liqueurs,as well as the Maruxas,are available in the shop (in galician Tenda). Open from Monday to Friday during business hours.
