Mantequerias Arjeriz is a wine shop in the centre of Vigo within walking distance of the Port. It also sells great treats! The shop was founded in 1920 and its exterior facing Carall Street hasn't changed much over the years! Without doubt this is one of the best old shops to visit in Vigo which has reatined its character over the years. You can also expect a warm welcome from Juan Antonio Marcote and this family owned business .
Mantequerias Arjeriz specialises in selling fine wines from throughout Spain from Rioja to Ribera del Duero and liqueurs. All Galician wine denominations are also well represented from ribeiros to godellos, mencias and of course albariños. Prices are extremely competitive.
Mantequerias Arjeriz also sells a range of typical products which are hand-made using the finest ingredients such as turron,almond cakes,luxury chocolates and dried fruits.
The shop is open Mondays to Fridays from 9.30 to 13.30 and 16.30 to 20.30, Saturday morning from 10.00 to 13.30 closed Sundays.
