Directions to Ribadavia Tourist Office
Ribadavia is a beautifully preserved but real working town situated at the confluence of the Rivers Avia and Miño deep in the heart of rural Galicia. It´s a wonderful place to rest or hike amidst the vine-covered hills but also to sample and find out more about wine-making, its culture and traditions.
The tourist office is housed in a 17th century baroque building, once owned by the Counts of Ribadavia, right on the stunning Plaza Mayor in the heart of the old quarter. It stocks a comprehensive range of free leaflets and its friendly staff provide information on what to see and do in Ribadavia and the surrounding area of the Ribeiro. There is usually an English speaker on duty to respond to all your queries.
