Local tip
It's worth learning all about the history of Santiago Cathedral by getting their audio guide which costs only 1€ and is in seven languages

Located in the Cathedral itself, the route around the Museum allows you to enjoy on the one hand, priceless architectural spaces, such as: the Senate, the Treasury, the Chapel of the Relics, the Chapter House and the Crypt of the Portico of Glory and, on the other, important vestiges of the past cathedral and collections of sculpture, painting, jewellry, coins, textiles, etc..

In addition, the Museum organizes visits to the Cathedral covers, archaeological excavations and the Portico of Glory which, with limited places available, are seen as a separate activity. All this makes this undoubtedly the most beautiful and renowned museums of Galicia.
