DescriptionAfter departing from the bus Terminal at 8:00AM, you will venture to Cordoba, visiting its famous Mosque-Cathedral and Jewish Quarter. You will then continue to Sevilla, where dinner and accommodation are provided as well as an optional flamenco show. The following morning you will embark on a city tour visiting the Barrio de Santa Cruz with it's narrow streets, the Park of María Luisa and Plaza de España, with a panoramic view of the city. There is also the option to take an artistic tour including the Royal Alcazar Palace before dinner. On the day 3 you will depart for Granada, visiting the Alhambra with it's beautiful palaces and the Generalife. Dinner and accommodation are once again provided, with the option to visit to the caves of Sacromonte and attend a typical show of gypsy flamenco. On day 4 travel to Valencia, with a mid morning departure the following day to Barcelona. Here you will tour the Park of Montjuic, monument to Columbus and the old Gothic Quarter. You can spend your afternoon at leisure, with the option of a night tour through the wide avenues and well lit buildings and fountains. You will then depart for Zaragoza for a short stop before continuing on to San Sebastian. The next day you will leave for to Bilbao, where you will partake in a panoramic tour to admire the Guggenheim Museum building. Continuation to Santillana del Mar, city considered as a national Monument. You will then continue to Santander. The following day you will wind through the Picos de Europa mountains through splendid landscapes, before arriving to Covadonga with free time to visit the Shrine and continuing to Oviedo. The tour will then proceed onward to Gijon, the second capital of the region of Asturias. You will partake in a short panoramic tour before continuing through to the areas of Luarca, Ribadeo and Lugo in the Region of Galicia. The following morning you will depart to La Coruña for a short panoramic tour, with the option in the afternoon of an excursion to the Rías Altas through typical villages such as Pontedeume and Betanzos. Depart the next day for Santiago de Compostela, where you will have a city tour of this legendary pilgrimage town including the Plaza del Obradoiro and Cathedral. The next day involves a trip to the Spanish Fjords (Rias Bajas), through incredible landscapes such as La Toja Island, ría de Arosa and Pontevedra. There is also an optional tour to visit Santa Tecla and Valença do Miño across the Portuguese border before the tour continues to Vigo. We will finally wrap up our journey through the Galician Mountains to return to Madrid crossing the Castilian region.
